Jersey Wood Floor Cleaning and Jersey Hard Wood Floor
Cleaning want you to see the hardwood floors in your
home like you did when they were first put in. Do you
remember? They were stunning and shiny, buffed and polished.
They were the best looking wood floors you'd ever seen.
In addition they were great for your health, not holding
on to dust, allergens, dirt and other things that fall
into a carpet, so they made for healthier air in your
home. But time has done its trick on them and now, they're
not as healthy looking. Just simple traffic will make
them lose their luster, then there are spills, scratches
and scuffs, and no longer are they the beautiful shining
flooring pieces they used to be. It's even worse in
the heavy traffic areas such as the kitchen and hallways.
With our wood floor cleaning services in Jersey, Georgia
you can have your old wood flooring back. If you've
tried and tried to clean it, but you can't get that
shine to return, bring us in. When you call our hardwood
floor cleaning specialists, they will take your dull
lifeless flooring and return it to it's former self.
Once we're done, make sure to take care of your wood
floor to keep it looking new. Many manufacturers recommend
cleaning and buffing your floor regularly, and waxing
it every 1-6 years depending on how much traffic that
area gets.
Note: If your hardwood flooring has a polyurethane
coating finish, you should not wax it. This note, as
well as cleaning recommendations should have come with
your flooring. If not, contact the manufacturer and
ask how you should clean and maintain it.
Other Wood Flooring Advice:
Liquid Spills - Clean them up immediately to
prevent them from sinking in and damaging the wood.
Sweeping - Regular sweeping will help your
flooring last longer. When dirt and dust that collect
on your hardwood floor are walked on, the effect can
be much like sandpaper and it starts eating away at
the surface of the flooring. A once over with a dust
mop will do the trick.
Vacuuming - If you are going to use a vacuum
on your wood flooring, make sure to use the right attachments.
The vacuum beater bar can be damaging. Instead stick
with a brush attachment.
Protection - If your entry way has wood flooring,
you may want to consider putting down rugs or floor
mats to lessen the impact to that high-traffic area.
Furniture - Furniture can be an enemy to your
hardwood flooring. Use furniture guards or fabric under
the legs of your furnishings to protect the surface.
